  2. Pregnancy care

Guidance on nutrition, activity, medicines and warning signs, with an open door for questions at every stage.

  3. Normal delivery

  8. Infertility management

Consultation, evaluation and treatment planning for couples facing difficulty conceiving. IVF facilities are not available at City Care Hospital; where assisted reproduction may help, your doctor can discuss referral.

  9. Family-planning counselling

Confidential advice on contraception and family-planning options, to help you make an informed choice.

  10. Medical termination of pregnancy

Provided only within the scope approved for this facility under the Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act, 1971 (as amended in 2021) and the applicable Rules, by registered medical practitioners as the law requires. All consultations are confidential. Facility’s approved MTP scope to be confirmed

Read: questions to ask
When should I book my first pregnancy visit?

It is generally advisable to see a doctor soon after a positive pregnancy test, so that care can be planned early. Call the hospital to enquire about an appointment.

What should I bring to an antenatal appointment?

Bring any previous pregnancy records, recent reports and scan results, a list of medicines and supplements you take, and a list of questions. A family member is welcome to accompany you.

When should I seek urgent help during pregnancy?

Seek medical help immediately for bleeding, leaking fluid, severe abdominal pain, severe headache or blurred vision, fits, high fever, or reduced baby movements. In an emergency, dial 108 or go to the nearest emergency facility.

Does the hospital offer IVF?

No. IVF facilities are not available. Infertility consultation and management are offered, and the doctor can discuss referral if assisted reproduction may be appropriate.

Can I have my pregnancy scans at City Care?

Obstetric sonography is not offered at the hospital. Your doctor will advise you on where to have pregnancy scans performed.
