Laboratory testing
Blood and other tests that support diagnosis and the monitoring of conditions such as diabetes.
Electrocardiogram
A quick, painless recording of the heart’s electrical activity.
Non-stress test
Monitoring of the baby’s heart rate during pregnancy, as advised by the obstetrician.
Intra-operative imaging
Real-time X-ray imaging used in the operation theatre, particularly for orthopaedic procedures.
Physiotherapy
Exercise-based rehabilitation after injury or surgery, and for joint and back conditions.
Pharmacy
Dispensing of prescribed medicines. Please confirm stock and timings with the hospital.
Sonography
Ultrasound within the hospital’s verified, approved scope only. Obstetric sonography is not offered. Approved scope to be confirmed
Before a Test
A few practical pointers.
- Carry the doctor’s prescription or request for the investigation.
- Ask whether fasting or any other preparation is required for blood tests.
- Inform staff if you are, or might be, pregnant before any X-ray.
- Bring previous reports so results can be compared.
- Enquire about investigation charges and when reports will be ready.

- Service availability and appointments should always be confirmed with the hospital by telephone.
- Obstetric sonography (pregnancy ultrasound) is not offered at City Care Hospital.
- Pre-natal sex determination is prohibited by law under the PC&PNDT Act, 1994.
- There is no on-site blood bank.
